Overview

THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION BUT CANDIDATE MUST LIVE IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING STATES: FL, CA, VA, WI, IL, ID, NY, GA, MS, or MN.

 

The Sr. HRIS Analyst is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the UKG HRIS system and lead design, delivery, support, and maintenance of the system. This position combines human resources and payroll knowledge with information technology skills to implement and maintain efficient HRIS system functionality able to manage complex data and produce insightful reporting that adds value to organizational decision making and meets leadership needs. 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of all UKG module configurations, modifications and upgrades, and initiatives including gathering and defining requirements, gap analysis, design, development, and support. 
  • Key liaison to UKG, partnering to obtain needed technical support and monitoring UKG Community for ideas and resources to enhance system efficiencies. 
  • Ensures HR and Payroll data architecture, integrity, and practices support our mission, growth initiatives, strategies, and culture. 
  • Sets up Business Processes, Workflows, Security and User Roles, Deductions and Earnings. 
  • Maintains overall UKG ecosystem including Core HR and Payroll data, interfaces, and time and attendance functions. 
  • Maintains information flow for other UKG Pro (Legacy UltiPro) modules (Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management, Compensation Management, Learning Management, Perception, Life Events, Open Enrollment, Workforce Management). 
  • Documents changes, ensures governance and change controls. 
  • Assists in the development of standard reports and analytics for ongoing customer needs. 
  • Researches and resolves system problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. 
  • Configures and tests software and its various modules; manages test environments. 
  • Facilitates complex working sessions for internal client teams, including defining strategic objectives and tailors these to meet client-specific needs. 
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements aligned with new or existing laws and regulations, and assist in roll-out of communication of those improvements 
  • Creates detailed functional and technical design documents, including test plans, test cases, user training documents and implementation documentation.  
  • Ensures training is created and executed to meet the needs of the organization, including developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Trains clients and new system users on new processes/functionality. 
  • Provides thought leadership to develop new or improved processes, methodologies, systems, tools and/or services to enhance operating environment based on practical experience, optimal outcomes, and best practices. 
  • Manages work product of 3rd party consultants/implementation partners. 

Qualifications

Minimum Education 

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience 

 

Minimum Experience 

  • 4-6 years of experience managing and configuring UKG HRIS platform 
  • Advanced knowledge of UKG Pro (legacy UltiPro), Ready and HR Service Delivery, Kronos Business Intelligence products 
  • Knowledge of and experience with Analysis and Reporting tools (BI/Dashboard) 
  • Experience with other HRIS platforms a plus. 
  • Well versed in HR and Payroll business process and the employee life cycle 
  • Strong project leadership and management skills; ability to meet deadlines 
  • Strong change management skills 
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills  
  • Critical and conceptual thinking with strong attention to detail 
  • Experience with data conversion, particularly on the UKG platform 
  • Ability to analyze complex data or facts, summarize findings, and present results in a compelling way 
  • Drives results, self-starter, takes initiative 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently 
  • Experience presenting to at all levels of the organization 
  • Experienced in creating strategic communication for executive-level audiences 
  • Knowledge of collaboration, document repository, or intranet systems (like SharePoint) 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
